Why do people always blather on about my production when I ask for critique of my songs?
How 'bout the guitar? How 'bout the vocal melody? How 'bout the pre-chorus, which I like to build into every song (songs don't sound finished without it)? How 'bout the way I start out with a certain rhythm, move on to the vocal, then the pre-chorus (some of my songs not only have a pre-chorus; they have a bridge in addition to the pre-chorus), then come back with that same rhythm - only this time it's overlaid with the chorus?
You guys don't even notice that?
I notice that most of you don't write that way. AND YOU'RE STILL MAKING IT!
Do we have to come from rich families in order to get rich making music?!! What kind of perverted f---ing world is that? Success in music SHOULD BE BASED ON MUSICAL TALENT - NOTHING ELSE!
